Lauren Johnson

I've been pursuing an audio career in LA the past 5 1/2 years. I got my Master's in Film and TV Production from USC in December 2016, with a concentration in post sound and scoring engineering/mixing. I have worked in music studios and post facilities, as well as freelance for scoring/music sessions. I LOVE being in the studio and have an affinity for jazz, classical and rock, but would love to record other music genres as well. I am versed in all realms of post production sound as well. I currently work as a Pro Audio Solutions Specialist for Avid, but the beauty of my company is they allow me time off to pursue my individual career as a scoring/recording engineer and music mixer. I ma currently engineering my first feature score and will have the opportunity to mix it late this summer. If you're looking to record a choir, jazz band, didgeridoo, lute, harpsichord or any other instrument, I am up for the challenge. If you need your flute choir, jazz band, scat duo, score passion project or album mixed, I would love the opportunity. I am also versed in scoring/recording/mixing for surround formats, including Atmos.
