Erin Tonkon is a New York based producer, engineer, and mixer. Erin began engineering at the young age of sixteen. While attending NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, she studied under the likes of vetted producers Bob Power and Nicholas Sansano. It is during this time that Erin began her six years working as an engineer and production assistant to legendary rock producer Tony Visconti. Erin’s close work alongside Visconti introduced her to David Bowie, a relationship which culminated in engineering, mixing and performing backing vocals on Bowie’s Grammy award-winning final album,“Blackstar”. Her other credits include everyone from master jazz instrumentalist and vocalist, Esperanza Spalding to legendary punk icons, The Damned. She has also Produced and Engineered Lady Lamb's upcoming album.
