Clara Baker

Clara Baker is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, turned audio engineer/producer living and working in Portland, OR. Her interest in recording became an obsession after one of her favorite engineers recorded her performing an entire album live to tape in a Wisconsin living room. Since then, she's taken recording and production classes at Clackamas Community College, and done internships and assistant work under the mentorship of two senior recording engineers in Portland. She's worked as an assistant or intern in seven studios in the Portland area, and now works out of The Rye Room Recording Studio as the junior recording engineer & assistant engineer.
