Georgia Collins

Georgia Collins is one of a scarce few female engineers in the industry. Now working predominantly in post production sound design, Georgia has worked on spots for Nike, The Sydney Theatre Company and the Australia Ballet. Her sound design flair and mixing can be heard on the ABC’s Sarah’s Channel, Pool Collective’s Salt in the Blood and numerous short films. Georgia recently completed work on Eliza Scanlen’s (Little Women) highly anticipated directorial debut, Mukbang, as sound designer and mix engineer. In May it was announced the film would premiere at the Sydney Film Festival, 2020. Georgia is a lecturer at AFTRS, a regular guest on panels discussing all things audio, and for the past two years, through MusicNSW, runs a masterclass at Sydney’s 301 Studios, mentoring up-and-coming women, non-binary and trans artists
