Antonia Gauci

Engineer / Producer / Mixer from Sydney, Australia
In the past decade, Antonia has established herself as one of Australia’s most trusted, best- regarded engineers and versatile mixers, working with numerous local and international artists across the sonic spectrum. Her credits include: Will.i.Am, Lil Yachty, The Weekend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, most notably Kesha’s Grammy nominated single ‘Praying’, as well as some of Australia’s finest: DMA’s, Alison Wonderland, Vallis Alps, Kučka, Mansionair, What So Not, BUOY, Body Type and Anatole – to name a few. She cut her teeth at Sydney’s legendary BigJesusBurger Studios and Studios 301, assisting for heavyweights such as Scott Horscroft (The Presets, Birds of Tokyo), Eric J Dubowsky (Chet Faker, Flume, Odesza) and engineering for Kevin Shirley & Cold Chisel. At the same time, she began recording the cream of Sydney’s emerging artists, quickly gaining a reputation for her unique perspective, efficiency and welcoming, ego free nature. In 2015, Antonia became one of 301’s in-house engineering staff. In 2017, she broke out into the freelance world, acquiring her own production room at Golden Retriever Studios while 301 engaged in their relocation & rebuild – Opening 2018. Also worthy of a mention are her works as a songwriter and performer in Italo-disco trio GAUCI, and her brooding solo project Leftenent. Both winning praise from Australian press and radio, with GAUCI having one of the most requested songs of 2017 on FBi Radio, and Leftenent being labeled as one to watch in both 2016 & 2017. Antonia is collaborative by nature, endlessly enthusiastic about new music, and equally comfortable working in top-flight studios or on location.
