Simone Torres is a Diamond, Grammy Nominated, engineer, vocal producer, and artist from New York. She has worked with artists such as Becky G, Chlöe Bailey, Normani, Anitta, Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Monsta X, Jessie J, Billy Porter, The Backstreet Boys, Dua Lipa, and more. Some notable accomplishments include being honored by the Latin Recording Academy as one of their Leading Ladies of Entertainment (2023), Vocal Producing Becky G’s “Coming your way,” and “La Nena,” Normani’s “Motivation” and Engineering Cardi B’s “I Like It” and “Be Careful.” As an artist, her first original single "BENT" was released on February 2, 2024, followed by a music video directed by the amazing Latina duo SVN QNS and mirrors the song's power as an anthem of self-reclamation and speaks to Simone's personal journey of stepping into her power. Choreography by Alex Haydinger & Kiana Akaka was stunningly performed by the USC Xpressions Dance Company, adding to the song's message of empowerment. This is the first original music that she has released in her career and has been eagerly awaited since her debut on X factor in 2012. Her music is a blend of Soul, Rnb as well and her culture. Recently, Simone has vocal produced and engineered for film and TV Projects such as Purple Hearts (Netflix), which soared to the #1 spot worldwide on the platform upon release, and the Emmy nominated TV show Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. Outside of the studio, Simone is an advocate for creating safe spaces and opportunities for young women and gender expansive folks seeking music careers. She does this through her community building event Soundtrack Mixers, vocal production workshops and mentorship of up and coming talent. As an artist herself, Simone understands how stressful it can be to perform in the studio and thus aims to bring comfort and ease to her artists. Vocalists are their instrument and in turn, when something goes wrong it can be extremely personal. The trust between a vocalist and their producer is of the utmost importance. It is because of this that Simone became a vocal producer. She wants to help her artists create music they can be proud of.
