Erin Sinead is a freelance sound engineer, composer and music producer based near Glasgow, Scotland. She studied Sound Production at New College Lanarkshire before obtaining her degree in Commercial Sound Production with Distinction from the University of the West of Scotland. Erin is passionate about recording, mixing and producing independent artists, composing music for short film and radio, and collaborating with artists as a session vocalist / lyricist across genres. She has worked with a range of clients, including Rura, Flew The Arrow, Madderam, Haggerdash, Martin Coffield, Peter Nardini, Ortense Blue, Skinny Legends, Black Sky Eclipsed, Weekend Debt, The Shalls and the National Theatre of Scotland. Erin has engineered FOH at various live events at Stereo, the CCA, The Old Hairdressers, The Dream Machine, has provided engineering assistance at Celtic Connections and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and volunteers at HebCelt festival in Stornoway as part of their technical crew. Erin founded audio-visual project, ‘Sonic Scotland’, producing music videos of artists in Scotland’s most sonically interesting spaces. She recorded Flew The Arrow’s quartet live at Hamilton Mausoleum in 2020 and expanded Sonic Scotland's remit to deliver natural heritage and audio preservation soundscapes. 'Scotscapes' - an audio-visual time capsule of Strathkelvin Railway Path - was released by Sonic Scotland in 2021 and was featured by North Lanarkshire Heritage online.
