After graduating Middle Tennessee State University in 1999, I spent almost a decade working as a staff engineer at Oceanway Studios in Nashville. That's where I grew up under many award winning producers and engineers. After that I went freelance found myself a "home" at the studio now called "Historic RCA Studio A" when it was owned and operated by Ben Folds. These days I go wherever the work takes me. I'm comfortable tracking in 5 star hotel type studios as well as smaller home-type studios - wherever an artist feels comfortable, both creatively and financially. I have a small edit/mix room as well. My goal as a producer/engineer is to never forget that no record is MY record. I approach each client and their needs with an open mind to ensure they get the record they want to live with forever.I am the 2018-2019 Producers and Engineers Wing Co-Chair - Nashville Chapter of the Recording Academy, and also serving as a 2018-2019 Governor on the Nashville Recording Academy Board.
