Sachiko Blake

Lead audio engineer from Austin, United States
I received my bachelor's degree in Audio Production from American University, Washington DC, in 2009. While attending school, I interned as a recording engineer and tape op at studios in Delaware and Virginia, as well as being employed as a studio supervisor by the university. Upon completion of my degree, I relocated to Austin, TX, and interned for two months as a live engineer at various small and medium sized venues. After this time, I was brought on as a paid employee by multiple of the venues I interned for. Within a year I gained employment at KLRU, Austin PBS where I began to learn mixing for television and live broadcast. I am now the lead engineer, focusing primarily on systems and front of house reinforcement. I have also worked as front of house for multiple large capacity churches.
