Melissa has been working in Theatre and Audio for over 10 years. She began her audio career and training at Collin College where she received her Associates of Arts and Live Audio Engineering Training. She also studied Stage Management at Collin and Stephen F. Austin State University. She went on to get her Bachelor of Arts with a Technical Theatre emphasis from UT Arlington. In both schools she took an active FOH, A2, and Sound Designer role in their seasons of theatrical shows. In spring of 2017 she did a professional internship as a technician for the Walt Disney Company at Disney World where she worked at the various shows around the parks and set up audio for different on-site events. Starting in 2013 she worked part time as an event technology specialist for PSAV and in 2017 she began working full time with PSAV as a Lead Technician opening a new hotel and working a number of FOH and A2 positions for corporate events for companies such as the NFL and Toyota.
