Alice Quint

I am a music producer, composer, arranger, singer, songwriter and guitarist from Cali, Colombia, my music mixes elements of Alternative Rock, Grunge, New Wave and Pop. I work in my cultural production project call Casa Voyage, we produce, video, photography and musical production for artist and musicians I began in music at age 14 playing guitar and writing my own songs, then I create the alternative rock band Smoking Alice in 2007. Three years later I decided to continue as a solo artist. I released my first EP "Make the change" in 2011 produced by myself. I´ve participated in several rock festivals such as the "Calibre" Alternative Fest, Mamut Rock Fest, Festival of Colombian Performers, among others. The song “Loca” is included in the album "Discos Urbanos" of Lima, Peru, in the 2012 edition. In 2015, the Australian blog Be Noisey in the World, included me in the top "12 Colombian bands that should be listening". Exploring new sounds, with a new formation, I present a more mature perspective. Mixing texture from pop, rock and new wave, experimenting with different harmonies and patterns, reaching the simplicity of minimalism to generate atmospheres and at the same time strong melodies Currently I´m recording a new EP for next year with seven songs.
