Coco Morier has been absorbing musical styles her whole
life: Early influences of folk and country from her father led to
teenage fantasies of Lower East Side punk and hip-hop,
followed by the avant-garde electronic scene in Europe with
her band Electrocute, a tour as Charlotte Gainsbourg’s lead
guitarist, and ultimately success as a singer-songwriter and
producer of pop music in L.A. She’s composed songs for
Britney Spears (5 songs over 3 albums), Icona Pop, Demi
Lovato, Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko to
name a few.
Coco’s compositions have been featured in film, television,
and video games such as the Spongebob Squarepants
Movie, Broad City, Grey’s Anatomy, Mistresses, Radio
Shack, Verizon, Crayola, Victoria’s Secret, Clairol, Fifa, and
The Sims.
Her debut solo LP “Dreamer” (June 2016) was met with rave
reviews.
