Sofia Hughes

My name is Sofia, I have recently graduated in September with a first class BA (Hons) undergraduate degree in music production from the University of Sussex, England. At the end of my studies I received the College Principle’s award for receiving the highest project grade in the whole graduating class of 2018. Since beginning my degree I have gained a vast amount of experience both through studying and from my outside endeavours. I have become an active member in the music industry and acquired experience not just in production but in, creative directing, administration, graphic design, social media management, styling, video multimedia and more. After beginning studying I started my main project MOONOVERSUN which consisted of me performing, writing and producing my own material, I also reached out to other artists and began producing/mixing for them. I have also started working with Just Isn’t Music (Ninjatune) publishing doing bespoke work for hire jobs. This consists of me receiving a brief from a company such as Amazon or a TV show and creating completely unique work that is tailor made for them, this ranges from production to songwriting to vocals.
