Niki Prekop

Accidentally finding herself behind a console four years ago, Niki has climbed the venue ladder to become a knowledgeable freelance engineer based in Toronto. Starting out in small venues, Niki has worked her way up to be FOH for several local bands including RALPH and Ruby Waters, she's a senior technician at Harbourfront Centre and a regular at a handful of venues and festivals across the province. As a self taught technician, she's inspired by the DIY music scene of Toronto and the hard working musicians keeping the culture alive. With a versatile events background, her skills also branch out to tour managing, stage and set design, lighting design and production coordination. Niki is keen to broaden her A/V knowledge and share her creativity behind the scenes.
