Lianna Squillace is a sound designer, audio engineer, educator, writer, and musician currently based in Los Angeles. Lianna studied music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts before moving to Chicago in 2013 to complete her undergraduate studies. Lianna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Audio Design and Production from Columbia College Chicago in 2015, and her Master of Arts in Sound Arts and Industries from Northwestern University in 2019. Lianna has held adjunct teaching positions at both Columbia College Chicago and Northwestern University, where her course load covers topics such as audio theory and production, analog and digital signal flow, and the art of sound design for film. She currently works as a mixing and broadcast engineer for APM, supporting the nationally broadcast show “Marketplace” and the “Make Me Smart” podcast.
