Autumn Dawn Leader

I am a classically trained contralto vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist recording artist and session musician, based in Loughborough UK. I have been performing since the tender age of 4, and I have been writing songs since the age of 16. I reject being pigeon-holed into one genre - that's far too limiting. I write and perform songs about struggle, grief, loss and living with depression, pain and disappointment. My focus is always on strong lyrical content and the musical style which best supports the lyrics. In addition to being a solo artist, I am also one half of the prog-folk duo 'The Secret Magpies'.
