April Edwards

Lead Audio Engineer, Producer and Studio Manager at Nitrosonic from Lexington, United States
April Edwards manages and is the lead engineer at Nitrosonic studio in Lexington, Ky. She also manages the record label which is home to Mojothunder, Nine Pound Hammer and most recently signed, Eric Pistol Combs from Hazard, Ky. April engineered Pistol's 2 EPs "Pistol" and "Roots", and both ended up on the iTunes Top 100 Rap album charts at 88 and 31, passing Eminem's new album "Kamikaze" the night it debuted. April started her musical career at age 4 when she began taking Piano lessons, then guitar and violin lessons as a teenager. She first stepped foot in the music industry as a singer/songwriter but became interested in engineering when she started recording and producing her own music out of her bedroom closet. After a year of audio engineering school at the Recording, Radio and Film Connection and interning at Nitrosonic, she was made manager and engineer. The studio was ready to close its doors due to financial reasons, but April and her team brought the place to life; Nitrosonic not only came off the market, but it flourished over the past year.
