Angela Sheik is an award winning electro-pop producer, songwriter, vocalist, and performer who has been featured on NPR, PRI, BMI Indie Spotlight, and Voice of the Nation. Her recording projects have received praise on various music blogs (Pancakes and Whiskey, Vents, Indie Music Digest). She has won a national award from BOSS/Roland for her work with loop pedals, and has competed internationally and given product demonstrations across the US using BOSS loop stations.
Angela loves working to a pitch. She is known to write, record, produce, and mix a new musical work in a single day. As a topline artist, Angela has written melodies for DJs and remix artists that have been performed at dance and music festivals throughout the world. Her song "I Can't Decide" (remixed by Fabo/Flow and Zeo) has over 4 million views on Youtube.
As a live act, she wows audiences with her fearless creative experimentation, live looping skills, mischievous smile, and self-generated swirl of rhythmic harmonies. Angela has toured the U.S. and Europe, and opened for acts such as The Neon Trees, Julia Holter, Joseph Arthur, Midge Ure (Ultravox), and renowned bassist and pop singer Meshell Ndegeocello. She is based in Los Angeles and regularly visits NYC and the east coast.
