I am a Nashville native, and practice law in the firm of Ritholz Levy Fields, LLP. I have a national practice that serves a wide array of the entertainment industry. My clients include artists, writers, music producers, record labels, publishers, festival producers, and I also offer general corporate counsel. I started my career as an attorney in California, both in house and for a large firm, before returning to my hometown of Nashville in 2009.
My undergraduate degree is in Technology and Policy from The American University in Washington, DC. I attended the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where I was also awarded a Fellowship in the Chicago Colloquium of Intellectual Property and was able to live in an amazing city with unreasonably cold weather. I received my LL.M. with Merit from the London School of Economics and Political Science, in Commercial Law and Economics, where I was rained on every single day for a calendar year. After the cold and the rain, I was visiting family in Los Angeles, was offered a job, and stayed for nine years in the warmth of the Golden State, until it was time to return to my hometown.
Honors and Bar Admissions:
I am the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Denmark for the State of Tennessee, as well as a member of the State Bar Associations of Illinois, California, and Tennessee.
