JD Samson

JD Samson is best known as leader of the band MEN and for being one-third of the electronic-feminist-punk band and performance project, Le Tigre. For more than a decade JD’s career as a DJ, producer, and singer has landed her at the intersection of music, community, and art. She is now an Assistant Arts Professor at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. She still performs, writes music for herself and others (with a publishing deal at Universal), produces for film and TV and does remixes for varying styles of music.
