Andie Cascioli

Live Sound Engineer from Columbus, United States
I'm Andie Cascioli and I am a Columbus, Ohio live-sound engineer! I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music Engineering in 2012 from Capital University; where I also attended The Recording Workshop and interned for Horse-Drawn Productions in Chicago. After graduating, I spent several years as the main house engineer for Victory's Live; a small, local venue that provided free shows to the public, but always paid the performers. I also frequently contracted work at other local venues and festivals. In 2014, I moved onto the head house engineer position at Scarlet and Grey, where I also acted as their booking agent. For a period of time, I was removed from the sound world because of medical reasons. I rejoined the sound community in the summer of 2015 when I became the primary sound engineer for a local house of worship. After a second medical hiatus, I began contracting corporate and personal events, and returned to the house of worship as their head engineer. In 2017, I spoke on a #MeToo in the music industry panel at my Alma Mater with several other local womxn in sound/music. In 2018, I joined other local engineers at Capital University's Audio Production Day and lead a discussion about live sound. Over the summer of 2018, I contracted work under Brian Kozicki, volunteered for Grrrls Rock Columbus, and joined a womxn-owned and operated podcast as their recording engineer. I love audio/live-sound! and I'm excited to connect with more womxn in the industry!
