Abby Hegge

I fell in love with audio when I took a college recording class on a whim. I began volunteering at a local all ages venue and discovered a love for live sound as well. Now I've mixed at every venue in my town, worked with multiple local production companies, and co-own a small production company with my friend Willow called Wayward Audio. After several years of working only in live sound, I'm starting to get back to working in recording, mixing and mastering again as well! I really enjoy the work, but am saddened by the fact that almost all of my colleagues are men. It is very important to me to be there as a resource for other women, queer folks, and other folks who have historically been left out of audio, and I look forwards to being connected to a network of others like me in different cities.
