Dani is a recording engineer and mixer based in London. Her career began in 2013 after a week of work experience with producers Flood and Alan Moulder at their London studio, Assault and Battery. She began working there full time in 2014, firstly as an assistant recording engineer and later as a mix assistant to Alan Moulder, with whom she worked on records by artists such as Foals, Bear Hands and Nine Inch Nails. In mid-2016 she became the in-house engineer at songwriter and producer Jimmy Hogarth’s studio, Hoxa HQ, and still works there frequently. During her time working at Hoxa HQ Dani has worked with Hogarth on many records, and on projects with other producers including David Holmes, Steve Mackey, Dom Monks and Ash Workman. Most recently Dani has been working on forthcoming albums for Palace, Baxter Dury and Blair Dunlop. In February 2019 Dani was also awarded ‘Breakthrough Engineer of the Year’ at the MPG Awards.
