Yaiza Varona

I tell stories through sound. (Composer, sound designer and musicologist). I am based in between London and Madrid. In a nutshell, I specialise in creating experimental music and bold sound design that are weaved in complex sonic languages. The sound I offer is deeply rooted in History, non traditional instrumentation, and a strong use of sound design and the spoken word as musical elements. I divide my time between writing music and curating sound design for the media (Theatre, TV, film, installations, libraries, etc) and some personal projects, among them experimental, immersive sound works.
