Mastering and vinyl cutting Engineer from Paris, France
Marie Pieprzownik is a Paris based mastering, vinyl cutting and audio restoration engineer. In 2019, she joins the team at Translab studios, where she collaborates with a large range of artists and musical genres. She has rapidly established solid collaborations with the artists, labels and majors with whom she works closely (Etienne Daho, Etienne De Crécy, Air, IAM, Kiddy Smile, Saian Supa Crew, Matthieu Chedid, among others). Born in Toulouse, Marie previously worked for five years at the mastering studio Masterlabs in Dublin, Ireland (Sunil Sharpe, Mick Flannery, The Frames, Lisa O'Neill, Stano, etc…). In 2013, she started mastering her first tracks and cutting her first lacquers on a Neumann AM32B and rapidly became in charge of all the lacquer cuttings made within the pressing plant then adjoined to the studio. She was also in charge of all the audio restoration duties, handling analogue master tapes, vinyl records, and cassettes.
