I am currently a senior lead audio visual technician based on the Gold Coast. I currently manage responsibilities including co-ordinating procedures such as bump-in, bump-out, and operation of audio visual installations for exhibitions and conference events involving numerous vision, audio, and lighting systems resulting in an integrated audio visual solution that satisfies and exceeds the client’s expectations. I have 10 years experience working in and around the music, arts and events industry, holding a range of positions within stage management, technical and creative departments. I understand all aspects of events from planning, designing, and preparing, to logistics, technical operating, maintenance, and client relations. This coupled with my passion for the arts, and qualifications including Certificate III - Live Entertainment, Theatre, and Events, Bachelor of Audio Production, Queensland Test and Tag Qualification, Construction Industry White Card and a Current Open Class “C” Drivers License, provide a fantastic foundation for a position that demands flexibility and a broad skill set. Within my current role, I regularly attend client meetings, briefings, and site inspections to discuss and organise event management, audio visual and theming. I am able to read and compose run sheets, floor plans, stage plans, room layouts and system schematics. I have a passion for live entertainment and events with a background in corporate audio visual. I have worked a variety of events including school productions, corporate awards nights, exhibitions, product launches, weddings, international touring acts and festivals. I have worked within many venues throughout the Gold Coast and Brisbane including, but not limited to, Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Jupiter’s Casino, QT, Hilton, Marriott, Q1, Palazzo Versace, The Arts Centre Gold Coast, Sheraton Mirage, RACV Royal Pines, Southport Sharks Events Centre, Griffith University, QUT Precincts, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Royal International Convention Centre - Brisbane and Suncorp Stadium.
