Denise De’ion

Born and raised in Toronto, Denise De'ion (Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Dancer) powerfully fuses alternative R&B with Pop to create an undeniable vibe, groove and style comparable to the likes of Missy Elliot and Rihanna however, there is no mistaking that Denise's sound is completely her own. In June 2016, Denise celebrated the release of her self-produced EP, "Birthday Cake"", which online blog Jump The Magazine reacts to in mentioning that Denise is “ seemingly unafraid to experiment with different harmonies ” and that she “ hints at a lot of untapped potential ”.The EP boasts the lead single, "Work It Out"", which was a perfect example of Denise's fusion sound and infectious body rocking energy, and is accompanied by visuals available here: https://youtu.be/LmnIi0MiUh4 In addition, she remixed the single (Work it Out Pt 2)) and released additional visuals also available here: https://youtu.be/ogFZerYndxU Denise has brought her high energy and feel good performances to stages across Toronto, performing at some of the city's most notable venues to date including Dundas Square, Velvet Underground, Adelaide Hall, Revival Bar, Studio Bar, Allstream Centre as well as internationally in Atlanta, Georgia's Scene City. In April 2016, Denise also successfully completed Canada's Music Incubator: Artist Entrepreneur program with a standout graduation performance and positive acclaim, " Denise is very creative, has a lot of good ideas and is a hard working artist and producer " - Vel Omazic (Executive Director, CMIAE former). In October, of 2017 she was one of 5 female producers in Battle of the Beatmakers top 64. In November of 2018, she once again competed in Battle of the Beatmakers making it to the top 16. 2018 has seen a focus on songwriting and production projects as well as working on an projects to be released in 2019.
