Salomé Limón

Mix Engineer from Madrid, Spain
I studied sound engineering in Madrid in 2004 and short after that I started working at the prestigious Casa Limón Studio. My first project was Andrés Calamaro’s album “El Cantante”. And then came artists as amazing as Paco de Lucía, Anoushka Shankar, Mariza, Concha Buika, etc. In 2015 I recorded, mixed and produced "De mujer a mujer", a worldwide music project with 14 leading spanish singers, collaborating with the Vicente Ferrer Fundation. I also recorded "Entre 20 Aguas. Tributo a la música de Paco de Lucía" and "Astrid Asher" first album of the promising Colombian singer that gives name to her album. Both nominated to the Latin Grammy Award. In 2015 I have started as lecturer in student talks and master classes. In 2016 I had finished the new album of Michel Camilo and Tomatito, the fourth album of María Toledo and the reedition of Nene Cassa's first album. With Lady Pepper I have just started the production of his debut album. Without name yet. Not even the songs. I am collaborating with one of the Spanish communication agency that best take care of women Agencia de Comunicación y Género. We have some amazing projects going on. Besides recording engineer, mixing engineer, and executive producer I'm the President and Founder of PIAudio (Iberoamerican Women Producers and Engineerings Association), an active member of The Grammy Academy, of the Grammy Academy, of the Women's Audio Mission and of the Audio Engineering Society.
