Lindsay Powell

Fielded is the moniker of Lindsay Powell, a Brooklyn based singer and producer dissecting pop archetypes. Powell exists in the realm of post-genre, finding empowerment in the vulnerability of her lyrics and the fluency of her production. The progressive sense of rhythm, electronic arrangement and hip-hop influenced vocals combine to produce bangers and ballads that are both raw and unusual. Powell's songwriting is emotionally poignant, lyrically emobdying a timeless exploration of love and loss. Her latest release “Drip Drip" on Deathbomb Arc explores themes of liberation, consent, and forgiveness. She has performed at the Guggenheim Museum, as well as The New Museum, Frieze Art Fair, and Art Basel in collaboration with sound artist Naama Tsabar.
