Emily Jacobs is an active composer, vocalist, songwriter, performer, creative arts project manager and group facilitator.
Her creative works combine rich and varied influences, from Opera, Baroque and medieval music to Electronic, Pop, House, Techno and Dub Reggae.
She provides sensitive and responsive compositions in her collaboration with dance, theatre and art to provide an immersive experience.
Her live and installation works immerse the spectator and construct new magical, fantastical realities, combining visuals, dance, and ambient complex soundscapes.
Emily studied Electronic Music Production and Performance at DBS Berlin.
Emily has lived in London, Bristol, Montpellier and Berlin. Each city offered a different rich and musical culture that has influenced her production.
Emily has toured the US and Europe extensively with her music and has had a number of songs featured in Film, TV, Advertisements and Radio. Her work has been reviewed in Clash, Xlrator, Pitchfork and has played Boiler Room.
Emily self released two EP’s and an album on Vinyl and CD through her own Label.
Emily is trained in Logic Pro X, Ableton Live and Sound Engineering through Saffron Records.
